Inaugurato il 18 dicembre del 1976,il Museo Alfa Romeo viene considerato uno dei più completi ed importanti musei monomarca –A conferma, una indagine svolta dalla rivista inglese “AUTO EXPRESS”dalla quale risulta che il Museo Alfa Romeo è al quarto posto assoluto fra le cosa da visitare al mondo-Entrando nel Museo si prova la sensazione di entrare in una moderna galleria d’arte. Le automobili sono state sistemate con i criteri ed il gusto di un museo di sculture. In realtà si tratta di sculture meccaniche .I visitatori possono girare intorno alla vetture esposte e ammirare sia la linea della carrozzeria che i segreti meccanici – Le automobili esposte sono oltre 110 che coprono quasi l’intera produzione dal 1910 ai giorni nostri –Nel Museo Alfa Romeo si trovano pezzi unici al mondo come la Torpedo 24 HP del 1910, prima vettura ALFA(Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili),.vetture come le 1500 , 1750 e 2300 legate alle leggendarie corse degli anni venti /trenta e alle grande vittorie dell’Alfa come la Mille Miglia, undici vittorie assolute ,record imbattuto,la Targa Florio,dieci vittorie, la 24 ore di Le Mans,quattro primi posti assoluti . Al volante mitici piloti : Nuvolari ,Campari,Varzi ,Sivocci .Fu alla Targa Florio del 1923, vinta da Ugo Sivocci su RL , che appare per la prima volta sul cofano di una Alfa il simbolo del Quadrifoglio che da allora sarà il segno inconfondibile delle vetture sportive della Casa del Biscione- la Monoposto 159, con la quale Juan Manuel Fangio si aggiudicò nel 1951 il Campionato Mondiale Piloti F.1 , La rassegna continua con le vetture prodotte in linea di montaggio agli inizi degli anni cinquanta:la 1900 e la Giulietta nelle varie versioni –e con le vetture nate nello stabilimento di Arese : La Giulia in tutte le sue versioni ,l’Alfetta, la Montreal -Non mancano le vetture dell’Autodelta il reparto corse Alfa Romeo, come le TZ le GTA , le “33” Campioni del Mondo Marche nel 1975 e Sport Prototipi del 1977- Ed in fine le più recenti 155 GTA, che nel 1993 ha conquistato il difficilissimo Campionato Turismo Tedesco e la 156 vincitrice del Campionati Fia European Touring Car Championship 2002.



Opened December 18, 1976, the Alfa Romeo museum is considered as one of the most complete and important museums. On confirmation, an inquiry carried out by the English magazine Auto Express states that the Alfa Romeo museum is at fourth place among the list of “must see” things to visit in the world. Upon entering the museum, one can experience the sensation of entering into a modern art gallery. The cars have been fixed with the standard and taste of a sculpture museum. In reality, it is in fact a museum of mechanical sculptures. The visitors can go around the exhibited cars and admire both the bodywork and the mechanical secrets. There are more than 110 cars on display, and cover nearly the entire history of production from 1910 to today. In the Alfa Romeo museum, it is possible to find unique parts such as the Torpedo 24HP from 1910, the very first ALFA (Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili), cars such as the 1500, 1750 and 2300 linked to the legendary courses of the 20’s and 30’s, as well as the grand victory of the Alfa such as La Mille Miglia with 11 victories and unbeatable records, the Targa Florio with 10 victories, Le 24 ore di Le Mans, and 4 first places. Behind the wheel were top pilots such as: Nuvolari, Campari, Varzi and Sivocci. All were present at the 1923 Targa Florio , won by Ugo Sivocci in an RL, where, for the first time the symbol of the four-leaved clover appeared on the bonnet of an Alfa. This symbol then went on to be the unmistakeable sign of the Casa del Biscione sports cars – the single-seater 159, with which Juan Manuel Fangio won the F.1 Pilot World Championship in 1951. The exhibit continues with the cars built in assemblage line at the beginning of the 50’s: the 1900 and the Giulia in their various versions, and with the cars built in the factory of Arese: La Giulia and all of its versions, l’Alfetta and La Montreal. Included are also the cars of the Autodelta Alfa Romeo division courses such as the TZ’s, the GTA’s, the “33” champions of Mondo Marche in 1975 and sport prototypes from 1977. Lastly, there is the most recent 155 GTA which in 1993, conquered the extremely difficult ‘German Tourism Championship’, and is also the 156th winner of the ‘Fia European Touring Car Championship’ in 2002.
